Learn about the solution to save water and energy
Agriculture today and in the future, with natural resources threatened by climate change and a growing demand for food, will not be vialbe if it does not work with management, control and sustainability indicators.
From Progrés, a company with a strong innovative vocation and long experience in the irrigation sector, we propose a solution for this challenge.
The solution is a set of technological tools for precision agriculture, wich allows optimizing the consumption of water, energy and fertilizers on the management of plant, climate and soil variables.
This solution consists of three parts::
Plant, soil, climate and consumption sensors, installed in the field, as well as information extracted from external stations.
Wide variety of programmers, to collect the information from the sensors, and to be able to control the irrigation and fertigation of t he farm.
Management tools, to be able to interact with the remote programmer, in addition to visualizing data through graphs and records.
SOLUTIONS COMPONENTS
To save as much water and energy as possible, we must know the needs of the crop.
We can understand these through sensors installed in the field.
The controllers extract the information from the sensors, and also control the status of the
sectors, fertilizers, pumps, fileters, failures occurred and create event and accumulated records.
All the information collected by the controller is uploaded and stored in the cloud.
This data is processed and displayed through our remote management, wich offer
the possibility of analyzing the data and adapting irrigation decisions to the real needs of the crop.
Sensors
We have sensors that allow us to know the state of the crop, losses, needs and water reserves. They can be connected locally to the controllers or via wireless modules.
Learn about the different types of sensors:
Controllers
The irrigation controllers, in addition to collecting the data from the sensors, are also in charge of putting into practice the irrigation decisions that the manager will have taken based on the analysis of the data collected.
They can respond to orders to start, stop or modify irrigation if certain conditions are met.
The controllers have many other functions to ensure the correct application of water and fertilizer:
-
Control irrigation sectors
-
Fertilizer injection
-
Pump control
-
Filter cleaning
-
Fault detection
-
Detailed event log
-
Accumulated history
Depending on the needs of the installation, we have different types of controllers:
We also have wireless or monocable modules for the activation of valves and other irrigation equipment, as well as the reading of sensors and meters.
Cloud
The Progrés cloud is a data centralization platform focused on the storage of large volumes of information. We upload all the information stored by the controller to be able to access it through online tools.
In addition, we make available to thrid parties (after feasibility evaluation), an API to offer access to the saved data.
Remote management
Data stored in the cloud is processed and displayed through 3 types of remote management.
Agrónic APP
Mobile application with which you can check the status of the
Agrónic, edit sheduled irrigation and fertilization, and give orders
direct manuals. It has maps, accumulated histories,
graphs of the values of the day, log of events and anomalies.
Available for Agrónic 2500, Agrónic 4000 v3, Agrónic 5500, Agrónic 7000
and Agrónic Bit. It is necessary to have the option "Cloud" or "PC+Cloud" on the computer.
Agrónic Web
The Agrónic Web is an online platform that is accessed from the browser of the computer or tablet.
It allows to consult the status of the controller, edit the irrigation and programmed fertilization, give direct manual orders and configure the different functionalities of the Agrónic.
It has greater management of irrigation data compared to the Agrónic APP, as well as management of pivots and consultation of the status of external modules.
Through different maps you can interact with the elements of the installation.
In addition, it has multi-user management, ideal for companies with a hierarchical structure.
It records data on the status of the installation's sensors and offers the possibility of analyzing the information to find out:
The water available by sector, useful to know the thresholds of the water content in the soil.
Data on the vapor pressure deficit (DVP), which is used as an indicator of water absorption, and possible plant diseases.
The knowledge of the water balance by sector, useful to know the difference between the loss of water by evapotranspiration, and entry of water by rain or irrigation.
Evapotranspiration calculations (ETo - ETc), to know the loss of moisture from the plant.
Available for Agrónic 2500, Agrónic 4000 v3, Agrónic 5500, Agrónic 7000 and Agrónic Bit. It is necessary to have the option "Cloud" or "PC+Cloud" on the computer.
Agrónic PC
This program takes advantage of all the advantages offered by the Windows environment so that, in an intuitive way, you can enter parameters and programs, modify them, perform actions in real time, as well as consult anomalies, accumulated data. You do not need to register the controller in the cloud, since it is software that can be installed on the computer and connects via cable or the Internet.
Available for Agrónic 2500, Agrónic 4000 v3, Agrónic 5500, Agrónic 7000 and Agrónic Bit. It is necessary to have the option "Cloud" or "PC+Cloud" on the computer.
Manager
All this solution offers processed information so that the user, with his criteria, decides which irrigation routines to use, but if he needs professional support, he can hire a consultancy.
We ha ve 3 types of development consultancy, which have the purpose of validating and processing the data; create a customized strategy per crop, to generate an automatic schedule; or if you want, educate yourself and be trained to support decision-making in fertigation.
With this comprehensive solution, we want to know the real demands of the crop to be able to interpret them and dose the irrigation so that the plant receives the amount of water and fertilizer that best suits its needs, in addition to achieving optimal user of resources.
Both in agricultural and urban facilities, the water savings involved in using this solution is very remarkable. It directly affects a reduction in the application of fertilizer, reducing soil contamination.
