Where are we?

History

1985

On January 3, 1985, Jaume and Enric created the company on the ground floor of a house, with the aim of designing and manufacturing electronic equipment for agriculture and livestock.
1985

First equipment on the market, the Reg Control Analògic. It incorporated fertilization proportional to the irrigation time.
1986

In November, Gas Control, which was the first system created specifically to control all the parameters of controlled atmosphere cold rooms, is launched on the market.
1988

We moved to Pau Casals street number 23 in Bellpuig, with availability of 190 m2.
1988

In July, the Agrónic 3000 began to be marketed, the first configurable controller for agricultural fertigation, which set the guidelines to be followed by many other controllers manufacturers, and with which 4 awards were obtained for technological innovation.
1988

In November the first version of the Agrónic 2000 appears, one of the best-selling controller on the market. In 2011 it is replaced by the Agrónic 2500.
1991

In Semptember, the Ambitrol 500, whici was the first fully configurable controller suitable for controlling environmental parameters in closed areas such as greenhouses, farms, dryers, etc., was launched on the market. It is later supplemented by Ambitrol 100.
1993

In May the Agrónic 6000 appears, a pioneering controller in complete hydroponic fertigation. Later it is replaced by the Agrónic 5000, 7000 and 5500.
1994

In May the Agrónic 4000 came out, which was the most complete conventional fertigation controller on the market, and it continues to be so with the new versions made.
1994

We are awarded the third Prize for Technology by the Government of Catalonia, being one of the smallest companies that has received it, since at that time Progrés had only 7 employees.
1996

We inaugurate new facilities at Av. Urgell number 23 in Bellpuig, which allow us to grow according to our needs until 2018.
2003

We include in our product catalog, controllers to manage irrigation communities.
2003

We obtain the quality certification ISO 9001
2003

We incorporated in our equipment the new technology Radio.
2003

We incorporated in our equipment the new GPRS technology.
2004

The average workforce already amounts to 30 employees, a figure that will remain more or less stable for 10 years.
2005

The Monocable Modules appear to incorporate the controller, with great success of the Encapsulated version.
2007

Creation of the Agrónic PC desktop program to remotely manage computers.
2008

We updated and added much more content to the corporate website, and we renewed the commercial documentation with a new corporate image.
2010

We celebrate the 25th annyversary of the company with the publication of a commemorative book.
2014

Retirement of Enric Segarra, co-founder and manager of the company, after almost 30 years of dedication to it, who is replaced by this daughter Ester Segarra.
2014

Creation of the cloud as a platform for centralizing data from controllers and sensors.
2014

We began to market the Agrónic App, an application to manage the irrigation and fertilization of the plots where a controlle is installed via mobile.
2015

Increase in turnover of more than 20% in one year, which will cause a very significant increase in the hiring of personnel in the following years.
2015

We participate as partners in the Maslowaten Project, which receives funds from the European Union program "Horizon 2020". The main objective is the introduction to the market of a new solution that consists of the use of photovoltaic pumping systems from agricultural irrigation that do not consume conventional electricity and save 30% of water.
2016

Renewal of the communication and dissemination channels: new design of the stand, totally renewed edition of the price list and publication of Newsletters as a new form of costumer information.
2017

We created a new tool, the Agrónic Web, more focused on remote sensing, analysis and optimization of fertigation.
2018

Publication of the new corporate website, and start of the corporate image modernization process.
2019

In January we moved to new facilities, in the town of El Palau d'Anglesola (Lleida). The change is going to provide more visibility and more space to work with better conditions and continue betting on quality production and careful customer service.
2020

Staff increase up to 54 people.
2021

In March the Agrónic Smart comes out, an irrigation controller ideal for the control of small agricultural farms and gardening.
2022

VEGGA is born, the new platform to optimize agricultural production, the result of collaboration between Regaber, IQV and Progrés.
